After several scattered announcements and leaks, we’re finally able to show you the very first video gameplay for the upcoming Attack on Titan game, set to be released in Japan on December 5 exclusively for Nintedo 3DS.

The video has been shown at latest japanese Nintendo Direct, where Spike Chunsoft through the voice of Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed some new details for the Shingeki no Kyojin ~Jinrui Saigo no Tsubasa (Attack on Titan: Last Wings of Humanity) action game.

Thanks to the video uploader we are able to translate more or less the words of Mr. Iwata and to understand that in the game’s story mode, the player controls Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and other members of the Survey Corps as they take on the invading giants. In every mission, the computer control allies who fight alongside the player. Up to four players can cooperate in the game’s multiplayer mode. The video shows how players can also make, customize, and train their own characters.

As usual, still no info regarding a western release of the game.

Yes, it looks shitty and quickly (and badly) made, but you know, those are just scans on a Japanese magazine…maybe the actual game is (getting) better. Let’s hope so.

According on the picture above, which is taken from an upcoming issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (thanks to Brian Ashcraft form Kotaku for the translation), quite popular manga and anime Shingeki no Kyojin, known in the west as Attack on Titan, is getting a 3DS game this year.

The rumor is not yet confirmed, and there’s no way to verify the source, but hey, let’s hope it’s true. We’ll keep you posted.
