grand theft auto online

Wow! Just wow folks! Rockstar Games has released a brand new shiny gameplay video about one of the many features of the new GTA: Grand Theft Auto Online. And it seems to be one of the most exciting! Here we go!

The video shows how they’ve taken the fundamental GTA concepts of freedom, ambient activity and mission-based gameplay and made them available to multiple players in an incredibly detailed and responsive online world.

This mode seems to be very ambitious, in fact you’ll have the freedom to explore alone or with friends, work cooperatively to complete missions, band together to participate in activities and ambient events, or compete in traditional game modes with the entire community, all with the personality and refined mechanics of Grand Theft Auto V.

Everything just look awesome!

Access to Grand Theft Auto Online is free with every retail copy of Grand Theft Auto V, but won’t be available at launch, we’ll have to wait till October 1st, but hey it’ll totally worth it!

Graffiti is becoming quite popular among video games marketing, indeed earlier today someone snapped the picture above in downtown Manhattan. It looks like Rockstar Games is going to reveal the official box art of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V through this huge mural in NYC.

If you look closer you can also notice the Rating Pending ESRB logo in the lower left, so it seems kinda official, but Rockstar said nothing yet, so it could be just a fan art made by some rich supporter. We’ll see.

Can’t wait to play the new installment of the infamous Grand Theft Auto series? Wondering about exploring a virtual world bigger than Red Dead Redemption, San Andreas, and GTA IV combined? Curious about the three characters dynamics?

Well, are sorry to inform you that GTA V has been delayed from its initial spring release and will now be out on September 17.

This is the official Rockstar announcement:

“Dear all,

Today, we have an official release date to share with you: Grand Theft Auto V will arrive in stores on September 17, 2013.

We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time. GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require.

To all Grand Theft Auto fans, please accept our apologies for the delay, and our promise that the entire team here is working very hard to make the game all it can be. We are doing all we can to help ensure it will meet if not exceed your expectations come September – we thank you for your support and patience.

Yours,
The GTA Team”
After a proper shitstorm few complaints from the fans, Rockstar Games community manager also said:
“Hey all, we understand many of you guys are disappointed with this news – unfortunately sometimes such delays are necessary in all forms of entertainment, and especially in the case of a game experience as massive and complex as GTAV. However this does not give you free reign to be abusive in comments. The general rules of common courtesy, decency and behavior as listed above the Comment Box still apply here, therefore anyone continuing to post abusive comments will have their privileges suspended. Also for those of you asking about the official box art, that will be coming out a bit later as well. Thank you all for understanding.”
We hope Rockstar guys will be able to amaze us with this highly anticipated and super-hyped game. We wish them all the luck to exceed fans expectations.
