We’ve already covered the Japanese release of Katsuhiro Otomo’s Short Peace Project on PlayStation 3 few weeks ago. Usually this is something that never make it out of Japan, but incredibly enough, today we’re here to report you that Namco Bandai has announced a localized release for the US.
You didn’t believe us when we reported about SEGA thinking of releasing Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F in the West. They wanted likes and shares on their Facebook picture? Well, the internet accepted the challenge and in less than 3 days, the post received over 25,000 likes and 15,000 shares.
So yes, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F is headed West! The game will arrive this August on both PlayStation 3 and Playstation Network in North America, and in Europe on Playstation Network (someone please explain us the lack of retail version in Europe!).
This is what Aaron Webber, associate brand manager for the game, said:
“Your voices helped make this happen. Miku and SEGA fans, this is your moment. We’re thrilled to bring this title out for you, and we’re counting on your support. Tell Your World! ”
If you’re excited for the game be patient a little bit more, because the demo will be available on June 11th for the U.S. and June 12th for Europe!
Next step: Yakuza 5 and/or Phantasy Star Online 2? Just saying…
You already know that Capcom marketing guys are pretty insane (let’s say completely bonkers). We know it from the previous event for the launch of Resident Evil 6 that featured a fake (but incredibly real-looking) human meat market (pictured below).
But that wasn’t enough…so, what about a blood-filled swimming pool with torso floats, intestines as lane markers, and all kinds of nasty and rotten objects floating in the water including bloody bandages, eyeballs, tendrils and blood clots? Disgusting? Good, because that’s exactly what is going to happen in London next weekend, at the official RE: Revelations launch event.
Capcom is promising big time to all the Resident Evil event attendants, warning fans to expect a ”shocking, gory and an incredibly disturbing experience – the perfect way to show that survival horror is back with a bang for Resident Evil Revelations”.
Interested? Better be quick because only 200 free tickets will be available here on May 20th (from 9.00am). While waiting to can kill some time zombies with the Resident Evil Revelation demo, already available on Xbox 360 and Wii U (PlayStation 3 owners have to wait till tomorrow)
As every well respectable nerd on the planet, beside video games, we also love manga and anime. So when a new video game based on a manga series comes out we are even more excited! Especially if we’re talking about Hirohiko Araki‘s masterpiece: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures.
You might have noticed that there’s a new game scheduled, it’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures: All Stars Battle, and it looks pretty awesome. The fighting game is being developed by CyberConnect2 (known for the .hack series and its not-always-good fanservice products, as all Naruto fighting games) and will be published by Namco Bandai Games only for PlayStation 3 on August 2013 (fuck, this is an exclusive!).
Earlier this week, Namco Bandai released a new trailer for the game, featuring most of the playable characters (from all the 8 JoJo’s series) and quite a lot of gameplay footage. Enjoy.
It’s a real shame this game won’t be multi-platform.
