After more than 250,000 votes, readers of Consumerist ultimately decided that Electronic Arts is the worst american company of 2012! That’s kind of a surprise, because this is the first time a video games software house is event nominated for such “prize”. Are you still wondering why? Well, the image below can properly explain it.

Got it? Yep, the main reason is because EA doesn’t fucking care about its users, the american giant is focused in just one goal: MONEY! And we all know that.

As we can read in the Consumerist article about the infamous prize, there have even been numerous accusations that EA deliberately hold back game content with the sole intent of charging a fee for it at a later date. It’s one thing to support a game with new content that is worth the price. It’s another to put out an inferior — and occasionally broken (see Sim City) — product with the mindset of “ah, we’ll fix it later and make some money for doing so.”

After the “prize” Electronic Arts’ spokemen said that big american tobacco companies must be relieved they weren’t even nominated, but that’s another story. They’ve also added the following statement:

“We can do better, but we blame Worst Company Success on homophobes and whiny Madden fans”

By the way, if you were wondering, the Bank of America came in second place.
