We’ve already covered the Japanese release of Katsuhiro Otomo’s Short Peace Project on PlayStation 3 few weeks ago. Usually this is something that never make it out of Japan, but incredibly enough, today we’re here to report you that Namco Bandai has announced a localized release for the US.
The PlayStation 3 version of the project includes the 4 short animated movies and a game, developed by Grasshopper’s Suda51 and Yōhei Kataoka (Tokyo Jungle), called Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day. The game itself is a fast paced 2D action and it looks very promising! Here’s the first official English language trailer.
There’s still no word on a European release, but since it’s a PS3 exclusive, and the system is region-free, we don’t give a shit!
Also, Namco Bandai didn’t say if the game will get a digital download only release or a retail one, but on Grasshopper’s official Facebook page, the admin assured that “packaged” version will be.
Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day will be released in the US this Spring.
It has been confirmed by Namco Bandai Europe that Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day will be released also in European countries with the same tba date as US. Here’s the announcement video with Suda51 and the “not final” European boxart.
