How Videogames Changed the World

Oh look, there’s finally something interesting shown on TV! Good news folks, if you live in UK, this Saturday a very cool and interesting 2-hour documentary called How Videogames Changed the World will be aired on Channel 4 at 9pm.

As part of Channel 4’s gaming night on November 30, satirist Charlie Brooker will present a one-off, two-hour special entitled How Video Games Changed The World. The show will look at the rise of videogame culture, examining Brooker’s picks of the most influential and iconic games from Pac-Man onwards. Joined by Jonathan Ross, Dara O’Briain and gaming legends like Will Wright and John Romero, Brooker looks at how videogames have become the most progressive art form of the last 40 years.

Here’s the trailer for the documentary.

We’re also happy to report that part of the program has been filmed at our beloved The Heart Of Gaming in London and that immediately after the show, Channel 4 will be showing Indie Game: The Movie.
