Capcom announced today at PAX that an HD version of the evergreen 1989 NES game Duck Tales is being developed by WayForward.

The game is called Duck Tales Remastered and it will launch this Summer on PSN, XBLA and Wii U E-Shop all around the world.

The classic platformer features hand-drawn character sprites and a 3D background world. Also, Disney’s original voice actors will lend their talents to the game. The game’s original 8-bit songs will be remastered by WayForward’s Jake Kaufman, and new elements will be included, without spoiling the original concept of the title.
